CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - City Councilman P.G. Sittenfeld held a press conference on Monday outside of the Hamilton County Board of Elections to offer citizens two important reminders: First, that Tuesday, October 9, is the deadline to register to vote. And second, that every last vote will be critical in the results of this year's election.
"Everyone's voice matters, and we all must participate," said Sittenfeld. "No matter who we are and where we come from or what previous challenges we've faced to being able to vote, everyone has a stake in this election and in the future direction of our country. We're encouraging everyone to take this last opportunity to get registered and to then raise their voice by casting their ballot."
Citizens can register at the Hamilton County Board of Elections (http://boe.hamilton-co.org/), area public libraries, Cincinnati Public Schools, and Bureaus of Motor Vehicles.
