Oregon mother is being charged with daughter's death

An Oregon woman who claimed her daughter was kidnapped at a California flea market is now being held in connection with her death.

Twenty-year-old Amanda Hodges will be arraigned on charges of murder by abuse and child neglect. She's being held without bail after leading authorities to the body of her four-year-old daughter, Cassandra.

The girl was found wrapped in garbage bags and buried in a shallow grave in a national forest bordering California. Hodges' live-in boyfriend was arrested yesterday on suspicion of murder. He's being held in California on two (m) million-dollars' bail. Authorities say the child had apparently been injured Thursday and died Friday at her home in Klamath Falls.
