Bengals players treat students weeks before Halloween

Beechgrove Elementary School got a special treat weeks before Halloween.

Bengals defensive end Michael Johnson and Linebacker Vincent Rey made an afternoon stop at the school to have a motivational talk with fifth graders. "I figure as long as I have a voice I'm going to say anything positive that I can," said Rey.

Several students asked questions about football, the Bengals and even education. Fifth grader Jacob Auton learned it you work hard you can be successful. "Listen to your teachers so you can keep going through life and with your goals," said Auton.

"It makes such an impact on kids lives that it's so much more than worth it for me to be able to do it," said Johnson.

Johnson and Rey even stuck around for lunch with the students to sign autographs and enjoy some cafeteria food.

"Had some good healthy choices in there," said Johnson. Had some vegetables, some fruits and some was good, I'm kind of full."
