HYDE PARK, OH (FOX19) - An early morning fatal crash at 2147 Madison Road left many residents in the Hyde Park area in the dark Friday morning.

According to police, a Ford F-250 was heading east on Madison Road near Lavinia around 1:30 a.m. when the driver lost control and drove off the right side of the roadway. The truck then hit a utility pole, flipped on it's side before hitting another metal pole and catching fire.

The truck and a tree caught on fire.

Police say the driver, William Fox, 32, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the crash and are still investigating the crash. Any witnesses are asked to contact the Cincinnati Police Department's Traffic Unit at 513-352-2514.
