Names released in deadly Campbell Co. crash

ALEXANDRIA, KY (FOX19) - Two people are dead after a crash Saturday afternoon in Campbell County.

It happened just before 2 p.m. on Licking Pike and West Miller Road in rural Alexandria.

Police say a Jeep SUV driven by Chris Pratt, 19, of Alexandria, was traveling southbound on Licking Pike and rear-ended a motorcycle.

The two occupants on the motorcycle, 65-year-old Jack Howard and 63-year-old Connie Howard, a married couple from Alexandria, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Pratt was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Fort Thomas with non-life threatening injuries.

The accident remains under investigation. Police say its unclear if alcohol or speed were factors in the crash.
