Police say a man was shot to death while walking to a convenience store in Walnut Hills on Monday night.
Komehn Kollie, Sr. was shot in the 800 block of Buena Vista Place. He was pronounced dead at University Hospital.
Police say Kollie was an innocent bystander who got caught in a crossfire while walking to a convenience store to buy a lottery ticket. He was shot in the torso.
A family member tells FOX19 that Kollie went to the same store every night to buy a lottery ticket. Kollie was a native of Africa who moved to the United States to avoid civil unrest. He leaves behind a wife and four children.
