HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Can you imagine battling cancer and a senseless crime at the same time?

That's the situation one man finds himself in after a recent theft at Huntsville Hospital.

Unfortunately, you can't do anything about the cancer, but you can help ease his pain with this crime.

The victim is seen on surveillance video in the Emergency Room at Huntsville Hospital August 3rd to receive treatment.

When he went to the receptionist's desk to fill out some paperwork, he accidentally left his iPhone on the counter.

It sat there for several minutes, until a man and woman walked up to the desk.

The man, wearing a white t-shirt and white baggy shorts, stared at the phone for a couple of minutes. Then, just before they walked away, he grabbed the phone.

If you know who he is, you can use your phone to call 256-53-CRIME.

Or click here to go to the Huntsville Area Crime Stoppers link to see how to text, e-mail or use our new app to give us those anonymous tips.

You'll eligible for up to a thousand dollars.
