Elementary school evacuated after small fire

KINGS MILLS, OH (FOX19) -

Kings Mills Elementary School was evacuated Friday after a small fire in a trash can.

The fire, which occurred just before noon, was quickly evacuated by a school custodian, and no additional damage was reported. The building is being ventilated.

As a precaution, students were taken to Kings Junior High. Parents can sign-out their child in the Kings Junior High Cafeteria.
