Call center to employ 100 Avondale residents

AVONDALE, OH (FOX19) - The Urban League of Cincinnati announced that it will be opening a new call center in Avondale, and expect to employ 100 people over the next two years. The call center will be located at the Urban League's headquarters, and will employ residents of the area.

Total Outsourcing Solutions (TOS), a call center operator, is working with The Urban League of Cincinnati to run a state of the art center. The Urban League built the center in an effort to secure contracts from businesses that needed overflow service, or intended to outsource.

Kroger is the center's first corporate client, but the Urban League and TOS are working to secure more.

The call center will employ 20 people initially, and is expected to grow to 100 jobs over the next two years.

The Urban League of Greater Cincinnati is the region's oldest and largest African American community-based organization.
