One man, one child dead in Owen County fire

OWEN COUNTY, KY (FOX19) -

Two people are dead after an early morning house fire in Owen County.

Kentucky State Police received a call about the fire at 1855 Agee Road around 5:25 Friday morning. Initial reports point to the kitchen as being the source of the blaze.

Brock Morgan, 31, of Greensburg Indiana, as well as a two year old child were pronounced dead at the scene. The child's mother, Katherine Perry, 30, of Owenton was flown to University Hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries.

    The shooting suspect, 17-year-old Dimitrios Pagourtzis, has been jailed on capital murder charges.
