Curing those Monday morning blues with FOX19!

Happy Monday!

It looks like we'll be starting this work week off right with some great weather! Meteorologist Katy Morgan is saying that temps in the Tri-state will soar into the mid-to-upper 70s today under a partly to mostly cloudy sky. The next few days will be even nicer and Katy will have more on your seven-day forecast on the FOX19 Morning News!

Police in Brookfield, Wisconsin are trying to identify the victims of a deadly shooting rampage. According to officials, Radcliffe Haughton entered a spa yesterday and opened fire. Three people were killed and four others were injured before Haughton turned the gun on himself. We will have the latest on the investigation at FOX19.com.

The mayor of Villa Hills will learn his fate tonight as to whether or not he'll get to keep his job. Mike Martin has been accused by city council of nine instances of misconduct and neglect of his official duties. Cory Stark is live this morning with more information.

A Mason teen who pleaded guilty in a major pot bust will also learn his punishment today. His sentencing was delayed last month because he was in substance abuse treatment. Dan Wells and Jessica Brown will have the details on his hearing.

Did you know that today is a national holiday? No, it's not going to get you out of work but we're trying to add a little more fun to our morning newscasts! Tune-in during the 5 a.m. hour to find out what it is!

Our Cincinnati Bengals are headed for their bye-week on not-so-great terms. They are now on a three-game losing streak after falling short to the Pittsburgh Steelers in last night's game. Despite the two touchdowns by A.J. Green and Cedric Peerman, it just wasn't enough. The final score was 24-17.

From baking to books to sweet inspiration, we've got a lot in store for you during today's double-dose of the FOX19 Morning Xtra! Be sure to tune-in from 9-11 a.m. to see what Frank Marzullo and Tracey Johnson have up their sleeves to help cure those Monday morning blues! See you then!
