NKU welcomes State, Congressional Candidates

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, KY (FOX19) -

Northern Kentucky University welcomes both state and congressional candidates to its campus for a second series of forums on Wednesday.

The forum will take place between 5-8 p.m. in the James C. and Rachel M. Votruba Student Union Ballroom. Each candidate will have a half-hour slot to present and answer questions. The first 15 minutes will focus on the candidate's platform and what each will do to support NKU students and education.

Participating candidates include:

  • 5 p.m. - Brian Linder(R), House District 61 (Corinth, Crittenden, Dry Ridge, Glencoe, Gratz, Monterey, Sparta, Warsaw, Williamstown, Owenton)
  • 5:30 p.m. - Wanda Crupper Hammons (D), House District 61 (Corinth, Crittenden, Dry Ridge, Glencoe, Gratz, Monterey, Sparta, Warsaw, Williamstown, Owenton)
  • 6 p.m. - Thomas McKee (D), House District 78 (Berry, Butler, California, Mentor, Mount Olivey, Cynthiana, Falmouth)
  • 6:30 p.m. - William Adkins (D), U.S. Representative, 4th Congressional District (Boone, Boyd (Northern), Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Greenup, Harrison, Henry, Jefferson (Eastern), Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Oldham, Owen, Pendleton, Shelby, Spencer (Northern), Trimble counties)
  • 7 p.m. - Bryan Lutz (R), House District 78 (Berry, Butler, California, Mentor, Mount Olivet, Cynthiana, Falmouth
  • 7:30 p.m. - Adam Haas (R) House District (Wilder, Highland HEights, Newport, Dayton, Bellevue, Southgate)
