DEARBORN COUNTY, IN (FOX19) -
A crash involving a school bus kills an elderly woman and sends a child to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities say the school bus, driven by 54-year-old Kerry Brunner, was stopped on US 50 after letting children off the bus just after 3 p.m. when it was rear-ended by a pickup truck driven by 80-year-old Billy Cade.
Helen McJury, 81, was a passenger in Cade's pickup truck. McJury was taken to Dearborn County Hospital and pronounced dead.
25 students were on the bus at the time of the crash. A 12-year-old student was taken to the hospital for a complaint of pain.
