Vigil for Reshawn Foster Vigil for Reshawn Foster
CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

A vigil was held Wednesday night for 29-year-old Reshawn Foster, known as "Smurf," who was killed early Sunday morning.

Cleveland Police are searching for 28 year old James McAlpline and his girlfriend, 27 year old Courtney Greene, in connection to Foster's death.

At the vigil, Khalid Samad from Peace in the Hood used a mega-phone to put the suspect's name out there.  "Everybody's got a picture of James McAlpine.  We're going to hold his picture up in the air," Samad shouted. "So if anybody knows where this fool is, we've got to get him off the street."

Foster's mother wants justice, while his brother wants revenge. "I want these people arrested before I throw dirt on my son.  And I want everybody that played a part in my son's death to be arrested," Lynn Allen told us.

"I'm a revenge type of person, so this is hurting me," said Andre Forster, Reshawn's brother. "What kind of revenge do you want?" reporter Dan DeRoos asked.  "The same thing that happened to my brother, the same thing."

Family told us Reshawn knew the pair wanted in his murder but not personally. Police say this isn't the first time the pair has killed.

In September, Keisha Freeman was murdered in her front yard after she tried to help a woman who was being beat up by her boyfriend.  There is a warrant out for McApline and Greene in that case as well.

Police tell us McAlpine may also be connect in a third murder.

"I want them caught, I want them caught. Man up, turn yourself in because I ain't going nowhere," said Allen.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of James Lamont McAlpine and Courtney Greene is asked to call the Cleveland Division of Police Homicide Unit at 216.623.5464. Anonymous information can be given to Crime Stoppers by calling 216.252.7463 or Text messaging to Text TIP657 plus your message to Crimes (274637).
