Ladies, do you want to update your style without paying a fortune? Now you can update your wardrobe using clothes you already have.
Since 'Clothes Mentor' opened last spring, thousands of items have come and gone through their doors.
The store takes clothing sizes zero to 26, along with shoes, handbags and jewelry.
Staff carefully looks through your apparel, ensuring there are no rips or stains. They're looking for up-to-date fashions, two years old or less.
The database looks up the original price.
"We generally price at a third of retail and then we offer to buy it from you at 30-40% of what it sells for," said Rose Dickerson.
To get paid at consignment, you have to wait for your item to sell. Here you get cash on the spot. You can then stretch those dollars - an outfit that would set you back about $200 in most stores only costs $52 here.
When selling merchandise, keep in mind Clothes Mentor is not going to accept everything, but there are always exceptions to the rules.
The Clothes Mentor buys all seasons, every day, and you can bring in items without an appointment.
