Two arrested at Owen Co. meth lab

NEW LIBERTY, KY (FOX19) -

Two people were arrested after Troopers discovered a meth lab at an Owen County home on Saturday.

Troopers went to the home to serve a warrant around 5:45 p.m. and smelled a strong chemical odor coming from the residence.

Authorities obtained a search warrant and found a meth lab when searching the home.  Corinne Sturgon, 33, and Raymond Eastman, 44, were arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of a meth precursor, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Sturgon and Eastman were taken to the Carroll County Detention Center.
