An overturned UPS semi truck caused a traffic back up on southbound Interstate 75 Tuesday morning.
It happened around 9:30 a.m. near Shepherd Lane.
The driver of the UPS truck was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police say the driver lost control and struck the concrete median between the interstate and the interstate collector, causing damage to the median. The semi then flipped onto its side, blocking two lanes of I-75 for about one hour.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
