Wooo Movember! - Cincinnati News, Weather, Sports from FOX19 NOW-WXIX

Wooo Movember!

Good morning and HAPPY FRIDAY! :)

Bundle yourself up this morning because it'll be a chilly start to the day! Meteorologist Katy Morgan is saying that we can expect mostly sunny skies with highs topping out in the low 50s for your Friday forecast. Katy and Frank will have more on your weekend outlook all morning long on FOX19!

It's the last weekend before we head to the polls for the 2012 Presidential election and both candidates will be making last-minute stops in battleground Ohio. Jessica Brown is live in West Chester with a preview of Mitt Romney's star-studded event tonight and Cory Stark will be covering Obama's visit from 5/3 Arena.

If you're ready for the election to just be over, 4-year-old Abby can empathize! Check out this hilarious video of her "Bronco Bamma and Mitt Romney" dismay! I couldn't decide whether to laugh or cry with her!

My heart goes out to the family of an elderly Monroe woman who had been missing since Sunday. 87-year-old Barbara Howe was found yesterday inside the truck of her car in Middletown. No suspects have been named and police are asking for your help in the investigation. If you know anything about the case, please call (513) 539-9234.

Kids at Batavia Elementary are getting an early start to their weekend, but not one that is enjoyable. Nearly 200 kids and faculty members either called in sick or left early yesterday, causing the school to close its doors. Most complained of nausea and vomiting and the school is currently being disinfected.

Our Cincinnati Bengals will be taking on the Denver Broncos in a sold out game this Sunday! We're not sure if Peyton Manning in a Broncos uniform has anything to do with it, but the Bengals are crossing their fingers to snap their three-game losing streak. Kick off is scheduled for 1 p.m.

All of us in the newsroom are super excited about this - the men of the FOX19 morning crew are participating in Movember, a month-long event in November where guys grow moustaches to raise awareness for men's health. While we're having a hard time figuring out what they'll look like with a new 'stache, we've taken a few guesses. You can check out our predictions here and be sure to visit to check their progress every morning on FOX19!

Want to snag a spot on Jeopardy? Here's your chance! The directors of the hit game show will be in town next month to audition folks in the Tristate. Rob Williams and Sheila Gray will have all of the details for you during the FOX19 Morning News!

Now that Halloween is over, we're getting into the full holiday spirit here at the station! Coming up in our 8 a.m. hour, Frank Marzullo will be the first of the group to share his favorite Thanksgiving dish! We're hungry...so we're hoping it's good!

Following Frank's holiday grub, he an Tracey Johnson will be joining us live from the Museum Center with a preview of the holiday trains exhibit. You won't want to miss it during our double-dose of the FOX19 Morning Xtra!

I hope all of you have a great weekend and I'll talk to you on Monday!

-Emily
