Trial date set for mother, daughter accused of taking money from Arlington Heights

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, OH (FOX19) -

A trial date has been set for a mother and daughter who are accused of stealing $260,000 from Arlington Heights.

Laura Jarvis, 32, of Cincinnati, and Donna Covert, 52, of Reading, are scheduled to go to trial on March 11.

The women were indicted for two counts of theft in office, two counts of tampering with records and one count of unauthorized use of property.

The charges involve the theft of approximately $260,000 from the Village of Arlington Heights between July 1, 2007 and  Feb. 19, 2010. If convicted of all charges, the defendants face the possibility of 15 years in prison.
