Who's ready for some pumpkin pie?!

Good morning!

I am loving not having to scrape my car in the mornings! Meteorologist Jeff Creighton is saying that today will be just as warm as yesterday, but we'll be seeing a little less sunshine. Skies today will remain mostly cloudy with a slight chance for a sprinkle or two, but nothing major. Jeff and Frank will have more on the forecast for your Thanksgiving week!

The investigation of a deadly home explosion in Indianapolis has taken a huge turn and is now being looked into as a homicide. The explosion occurred earlier this month, killing two people, injuring seven and forcing hundreds of people from their homes. Rob Williams and Sheila Gray will have the latest on the investigation on the FOX19 Morning News.

Heads or tails? It's a simple question that could determine the Walton City Council race. Dan Wells is live in Boone County with details on today's tie-breaking coin toss for a council seat.

Folks at Fountain Square are kicking off Thanksgiving a few days early with their annual Turkey Bowl today! Cory Stark is hanging out downtown this morning with a preview of the early festivities you can get on!

We want to give a big birthday shout out to UC's new president, Santa Ono! He turned the big 5-0 yesterday and was able to celebrate with hundreds of students and faculty! Happy birthday, Dr. Ono!

Are you a fan of pumpkin pie? If so, you'll want to tune in during our 7 and 8 a.m. hours! Dan Wells is pulling double duty today and will be heading out to the Frisch's pie factory to figure out their secret to perfecting the holiday favorite, while Frank Marzullo, Stephanie Woods and Kelly Rippin gear up for a pie eating contest against some local radio DJs!

Hopefully Frank and Stephanie won't be too stuffed from scarfing down pie because they'll be running all over the place in today's Morning Xtra! Frank is taking us inside of the Krohn Conservatory's 2012 Holiday Show while Stephanie gets in on the Turkey Bowl action on Fountain Square!
