VERONA, KY (FOX19) -
A crash on I-71 and the 72 mile marker near the Verona exit, leaves four injured on Thursday evening.
Amber Chandler, 31 of Covington had her three children in the car when they rear ended a line of four other cars, all of which were stopped in traffic due to another accident ahead. Chandler and her three children were all taken to the hospital, with two of the children being transported by medical helicopters.
Police confirm that the crash happened after one vehicle rear ended another,which started a chain reaction, they also confirm that there were five vehicles involved.
Police say that traffic was moving slowly in both directions following the crash.
