Holiday events get into full swing today across the tri-state. Here are just a few for you and your family to enjoy.
Macy's Light Up the Square begins at 6:00PM Friday on Fountain Square. It will include music and the lighting of a 65 foot Norway Spruce donated by an Ohio family.
The PNC Festival of Lights opens to the public at 5:00PM Friday at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. Two million LED lights have been strung throughout the zoo for you to enjoy. The festival runs 5-9pm Sunday-Thursday and 5-10pm on Friday and Saturday through New Year's Day.
Scuba Santa returns to the Newport Aquarium for his 9th year. He'll perform several underwater shows daily through New Year's Day. The cost is included with admission to the aquarium.
Light Up Middletown opens Friday night in Smith Park on Tytus Avenue. It's open every night from 6-10pm through New Year's Eve. Organizers will accept donations for the cost of admission.
Santa Land and Holiday in Lights happens at Sharon Woods from tonight until December 23rd. Families can enjoy the lights outside, then head inside Sharon Centre for more activities and a picture with Santa Claus. You'll need a Hamilton County Park Pass for parking.
Metro's Free Holly Jolly Downtown Trolley begins providing shuttle service today. Two decorated trolley cars will be available today and every Saturday through December 22nd. You can catch it in front of the Westin Hotel or at other stops around Downtown Cincinnati.
