CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -
On Monday, Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati unveiled details of its
urban event plaza.
The plaza will be located
adjacent to the front entrance of the casino between Reading Road, Court Street
and Eggleston Avenue.
The casino hopes to bring entertainment, festivals and
special events to the plaza.
The event plaza is located, in part, on properties purchased
from Hamilton County and the City of Cincinnati.
In 2011, Hamilton County
Commissioners sold a surface parking lot to casino developer Rock Ohio Caesars,
and Cincinnati City Council voted to close a small section of Broadway to make
way for the plaza.
