A second man is charged with the 2009 murder of a South Cumminsville teen.

In the summer of 2009, Mark Hooten, 16, was on his way to a job training program at St. Pius Church when he was shot and killed on Borden Street.

His murder was unsolved for two and a half years.

Then in February of 2012, a Hamilton County grand jury indicted 20-year-old Racheon Brown, II, in his death.

Brown was already in state prison on unrelated charges at the time of the murder indictment.

But at the time of the crime, witnesses had told police there were two shooters. The other man remained unidentified.

On Tuesday, Antwan Nelson, 21, was arrested and charged with one count of murder in the death of Mark Hooten.

Officers believe Nelson was the second shooter.

Both Nelson and Brown are in the Hamilton County jail. Nelson's bond was set at $250,000 during his arraignment on Wednesday morning. Brown was scheduled to go on trial for Hooten's death on Monday.
