UC ranked 11th in AP Poll; UK drops from top 25

The undefeated UC basketball team is up to 11th in this week's AP top 25, the program's best ranking since the 2003-04 season.

UC beat Alabama on a buzzer-beater Saturday to improve to 7-0 this season and jumped from 17th to 11th.

Other regional teams in the top 25:

1. Indiana

5. Louisville

7. Ohio State

11. UC

Kentucky dropped from the rankings after consecutive losses to Notre Dame and Baylor. It's the first time UK has not been ranked since John Calipari took over as head coach. The Wildcats are the top "receiving votes" team outside the top twenty five.
