Redneck Games

If you didn't get a chance to see the Redneck Games in East Dublin, Georgia, yesterday, you missed seeing a 300-pound man do a belly-flop into a pit of mud. There also were such events as hub-cap and toilet lid tosses, bobbing for pig's feet and an armpit serenade for kids. The games started with the lighting of a gas barbecue grill. The torch was decorated with beer cans. The Redneck Games started in 1996 as a spoof of the Olympics in nearby Atlanta. Fifteen-thousand people attended yesterday and raised thousands of dollars for the local Lions' Club.
