FAIRFIELD, OH (FOX19) -
A Butler County grand jury has indicted the five suspects accused of a deadly home invasion.
19-year-old Julian Slaven was fatally shot on Nov. 24 in his Fairfield home on Judy Drive.
Joseph Goodin has been indicted for murder, aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery and having weapons under disability.
Anthony Givens has been indicted for murder, aggravated burglary and aggravated robbery
Christia Frymire has been indicted for murder, aggravated burglary and aggravated robbery
Misty Williams has been indicted for murder, aggravated burglary and aggravated robbery
Jerry Eacholes has been indicted for murder, aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery and having weapons under disability
The murder charges carry a mandatory penalty of 15
years to life in prison with an additional three years consecutive to that for the
involvement of a firearm. The aggravated
burglary and aggravated robbery charges each carry a maximum sentence of 11
years and the weapons under disability charges against Eacholes and Goodin carry a penalty of a maximum of 36 months in prison. Various fines also apply to each offense.
Williams and Frymire were arrested on Nov. 27 during a traffic stop, Eacholes was arrested separately and both Goodin and Givens turned themselves in.
The five were scheduled to appear at a preliminary hearing on Thursday afternoon, but that has been cancelled due to the indictments.
This case is scheduled for arraignment before Judge
Oney on Dec. 10, 2012. Specific details concerning the facts and
circumstances of these charges will not be released at this time to afford the
defendants due process of law concerning such information and will be released
as provided by law.
