LEXINGTON, SC (WIS) -
A 27-year-old Lexington man, who was arrested for disorderly conduct at a bar, offered to wash a deputy's car and do his laundry if he let him go.
On Dec 6, around 12 a.m., deputies responded to Schooner's Bar on Long Pond Road in reference to an intoxicated customer refusing to leave.
Upon arrival, deputies saw Justin Priest standing outside next to the outer porch of the bar.The manager told deputies Priest was lingering at the bar with no money, causing a disturbance.
The report said Priest refused to call a cab and at one point attempted to leave the scene in his car. According to sheriff's deputies, Priest smelled like alcohol and could barely stand. Deputies also say Priest was mumbling, repeating himself and changing statements mid-sentence.
Priest was placed under arrest and transported to Lexington County Detention Center. On the way to jail, deputies say Priest was so drunk that he forgot he was under arrest.
