LAWRENCEBURG, IN (FOX19) -

A Cincinnati man is behind bars in Indiana after police say he tried to burglarize a home and then fled the scene.

The burglary occurred during the day on Dec. 3 on Stateline Road in Dearborn County.

Ryan Taulbee was arrested after he was found walking on Augusta Drive near the Sugar Ridge Golf Course.

Deputies responded to the burglary in progress and were advised that two suspects had fled in a pick up truck and another suspect fled on foot.

Deputies gave chase to the vehicle, but were unable to stop it. It was later found crashed into a tree and the occupants had fled on foot. 

A short time later, deputies found Taulbee, who had fled the scene on foot, coming out of a wooded area. He was arrested for attempted to commit burglary. The two other suspects are still at large.
