Bond set for suspects accused of shooting at off-duty officer

ROSELAWN, OH (FOX19) - Two suspects who are accused of shooting at an off-duty police officer were in court Wednesday morning.

Jihad Sanders, 22 and Frank Latham, 23, were charged with improperly discharging a weapon and felonious assault. Their bond was set at $300,000 each.

Police say the officer was in his personal car at a stoplight around 3 a.m. Tuesday morning on Reading Road when the suspect leaned out of a black SUV in front of him and fired shots at the vehicle, hitting the headlights.

The officer was not hurt.
