A convicted murderer in the tri-state was denied a new trial on Tuesday.
Ralph Carusone was convicted of murder in 2006 for a deadly stabbing in Addyston.
Carusone's lawyer was in court trying to reverse his conviction and get a second trial, based on new evidence.
His lawyer was also confident that the family will appeal the decision to the first district court of appeals.
Carusone was also charged with murder in 2009 for shooting a man during a heated argument. He was ultimately convicted of manslaughter and later paroled.
