CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Duke Energy crews are working to restore power on the westside of Cincinnati after a transformer blew this morning.
As of 6:45am Thursday, more than 6,000 Duke customers along River Road in the Riverside area were without power. Police say there are no wires down.
At 7:30 a.m., that number dropped to 1934.
At 9:30, the number was down to 31. No word on what caused the transformer to stop functioning.
