Father's Car

Young man surrenders in car death of father

A young man wanted in the Cleveland area on charges of running down and killing his father in an argument over the family car surrendered late this afternoon in Toledo. Lucas County Sheriff's Sergeant Joanne McLean says 22-year-old Daniel Jung of Westlake walked into an inmate work-release facility and identified himself. He arrived on foot, so deputies began a search for the car which he allegedly used to run down his father Sunday night and then flee. Westlake police obtained warrants for murder and aggravated vehicular assault in the death of 68-year-old chiropractor Yong Jung and car injuries to the suspect's mother, 61-year-old Jemma Jung.
