DAYTON, KY (FOX19) - Superintendents around the country may take a second look at the safety plans for their schools.

Jay Brewer, Superintendent of Dayton Independent Schools in Kentucky spoke with FOX19 on Friday evening.

He thinks you can prepare for such a traumatic event by having systems in place, school resource officers, practicing lockdowns and working collaboratively with local law enforcement.
