The Bengals signed Lakota West graduate John Conner to replace Chris Pressley at fullback.
Pressley, the starting fullback, suffered a season ending knee injury at Philadelphia. He played in all of this season's 14 games, with seven starts. His only offensive touch was a one-yard TD reception.
Conner, a third-year player from Kentucky, was a fifth-round draft choice of the New York Jets in 2010 and played in 35 Jets games with 10 starts before being waived this past Oct. 18.
He was on the Jets roster for this season's first six games, with three games played including two starts. He has career totals of 21 rushes for 88 yards (4.2) with two touchdowns, and four receptions for 18 yards (4.5).
