The UC basketball team avenged an overtime loss to Marshall last season with a 72-56 win Saturday over the Thundering Herd in Charleston.
The Bearcats forced 20 Marshall turnovers and Sean Kilpatrick scored 9 of his 13 points in the final eight minutes to pace UC to a 10th straight win to start the year.
"We tried to use our depth to our advantage," said UC head coach Mick Cronin. "And, eventually I think it took its toll and we've got guys who can really shoot the ball on this team, so eventually shots started going down for us and once that happened we were in business."
Cashmere Wright scored 14 points for UC.
It's the 10th time the Bearcats have started a season with ten straight wins. The second time in three years.
UC next plays Xavier in the Crosstown Classic Wednesday at U.S. Bank Arena.
