Crews extinguish fire at Mt. Pleasant home

MOUNT PLEASANT, TX (KLTV) -

A Mt. Pleasant home was left with minor damage after part of the home caught fire Sunday afternoon.

Around 3pm Sunday, the call came in that there was a home on fire the 400 block of Lisa Avenue in Mt. Pleasant.

Mt. Pleasant fire crews responded to the scene and were able to quickly put out the fire and save the rest of the home from damage. The fire originated I one of the bedrooms and that bedroom did sustain damage.

Officials say the cause of the fire is unknown at this time. No injuries were reported.
