KENWOOD, OH (FOX19) -

Some local kids picked out new winter gear with the help of Cincinnati Bengals players on Monday.

The 'Shop with a Jock' program picked 35 kids from Cincinnati-area schools to shop at Dick's Sporting Goods retail store.

The Marvin Lewis Community Fund partnered with the sporting goods store to host the event.

Each child received a $100 Dick's gift card and was paired with a player or Ben-Gal cheerleader to find a new winter coat, gloves, boots, hat and other cold weather apparel.

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton, AJ Green, Jermain Gresham, Carlos Dunlap and Benjarvus Green-Ellis were all in attendance.

Following the shopping experience, children received autographs from players and ate dinner provided by Noodles & Co.

An added bonus: The kids were driven home in a limousine, courtesy of A Savannah Nite.

Participants were selected by the Cincinnati Recreation Commission and public schools, through the Marvin Lewis Community Fund's 'Learning Is Cool' program.
