Salvation Army families shop toys for kids

The Salvation Army gave toys to local children in need on Monday.
The annual Toy Shop program kicked off, helping families that would not otherwise be able to afford toys for their kids.
Pre-qualified parents, grandparents and guardians pick out free toys, dolls and books at the Cincinnati Mall.
Program officials say the event provides more than 5,100 kids toys for the holidays.
Toys come from the Toys for Tots program, toy drives and collections by supporters of the program.
The annual Cincinnati Toy Shop event will continue on Tuesday and Wednesday.
