Marine's Departure Postponed

Hassoun's departure postponed 

It'll take a bit longer for a US Marine who went missing for nearly three weeks in Iraq to make it back to the United States. US military officials now say he'll be flown back to America tomorrow.

Corporal Wassef Ali Hassoun  had left a US military hospital in Germany this morning after a lengthy debriefing, and was expected to be flown home later today. But a spokeswoman at a military air base says his departure has been postponed until the next day. She says she has no details on the delay, adding, "Missions change."

Hassoun had earlier said he was "excited to be going home." He vanished from his base in Iraq and later turned up in his native Lebanon.
