Police ID victim of deadly Batavia crash

STONELICK TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

Police are investigating a deadly crash in Clermont County.

Emergency crews were called to the 4900 block of State Route 222 in Stonelick Township around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Investigators say Robert Handra Jr., 29, of Batavia was driving his Ford Focus southbound when he drove off the right side of the roadway, striking a utility pole before continuing down an embankment and striking a tree.

Handra was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say he was not wearing a seatbelt.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
