Hearing scheduled after youth sports funding goes missing

LEBANON, OH (FOX19) - A hearing is being held Wednesday in Warren County in connection with tens of thousands of dollars of missing funds from the Clearcreek Youth Soccer Association.

In the summer of 2012, the Springboro Police Department received a complaint from new officers of the Clearcreek Youth Soccer Association about discrepancies in the organization's bank accounts. Further investigation determined that there were allegedly 101 unauthorized payments from the organization's accounts from 2009 through 2012.  The total loss to the Clearcreek Youth Soccer Association is $64,800.56.

The hearing is scheduled for 1:45 p.m. in Judge Robert Peelers courtroom.
