Authorities in the Seattle area are trying to sort out a grisly episode on a roadway overnight. They say a man held his girlfriend and three young children at gunpoint in a car, doused them with gasoline and then set them on fire with a lighter as he drove. The car went off the road and overturned. The man and the children -- a six-month-old boy, a one-year-old boy and a two-year-old girl -- died. The 19-year-old woman is in critical condition. Sheriff's officials say the woman had recently accused her boyfriend of assault, and that they had an "off and on" relationship. They say the children were either those of the man, the woman, or both. A resident had reported hearing a crash and seeing two adults on fire as they stumbled across the road.
