It could be the second Ohio execution in less than a week. The Ohio Parole Board says Governor Taft should allow Scott Mink'sexecution on Tuesday for killing his parents. The 40-year old Mink who plead guilty at his trial has dropped his appeals. He killed his parents in a fit of rage in 2000 after they hid the keys to his truck because he had been drinking. If theexecution proceeds it would be the quickest an Ohio inmate's death sentence was carried out since the state reinstated the death penalty in 1981.It would also come a week after theexecution of Stephen Vrabel of Youngstown. He shot his girlfriend and their 3 year old daughter in 1989.
