Ryle HS student passes away from accident injuries

BOONE COUNTY, KY (FOX19) -

A Ryle High School student passed away on Wednesday from injuries he suffered in a car accident earlier this month.

James Hamilton was driving on U.S. 42 in Verona on December 8th.

His car ran off the road and hit a tree.

Hamilton was 17-years-old and a junior at Ryle High School.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
