HYDE PARK, OH (FOX19) - The Cincinnati Observatory plans to ring in the 'New Age' on Saturday.
Following the world not ending on December 21st, the Observatory is inviting people of all ages to rejoice under the stars.
Co-host of PBS' Star Gazers, Astronomer Dean Regas, will speak about real Mayan Astronomy.
Attendees can also visit the oldest professional telescope in the United States. In addition, the moon, Jupiter and the Orion Nebula can also be seen through several other telescopes at the Observatory.
The event is on Saturday, from 7 to 10 p.m., located at 3489 Observatory Place, near Ault Park.
Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
No reservations are required.
