Local teen raises money for charity through light show

SYMMES TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - A Symmes Township teen has developed an amazing light display with proceeds benefiting the victims of Newtown Conn.

17-year-old Connor Rouan spent weeks hanging 20 thousand lights and coordinating them with music. Rouan has put together a display for several years. This year's show lasts 20 minutes.

"I have always collected money to donate to charities," said Rouan. "This year, I thought the most deserving charity would be the Newtown Memorial Fund."

Another show will be held tomorrow at the home on Mistymorn Lane beginning at 7:00 p.m.
