Second fire at barber shop in less than a week

BOND HILL, OH (FOX19) - Arson investigators were on the scene of a second fire at Kutta's Barber Shop in less than a week.

A small fire was put out inside the business at California and Oakdale around 1:00am Monday. Smoke could be seen coming from the window of the barber shop before firefighters arrived.

No one was inside at the time and no injuries have been reported.

Duke Energy crews were called in to cut off power to the business shortly after crews put out the fire. Nearby homes were not affected.

Last Friday, crews were called to Kutta's around the same time of morning after a device was thrown through the window and started a fire inside. Damage was also contained to a small area during that incident. A dog was rescued from the building.

Both fires are considered suspicious, but it's unclear if investigators have any suspects.

FOX19 will bring you new information when it becomes available.
