The Tri-State rang in 2013 with FOX19 and Rewind 94.9 on Fountain Square!
Hosted by Tricia Macke and Ben Swann of FOX19 along with Jay Kruz of Rewind 94.9, the 2012 New Year's Eve Blast kicked off on December 31, from 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. on Fountain Square.
"Fountain Square is always trying to do something big and fresh and innovative and new," said Marvin Hawkins of 3CDC. "I think this is where it's at tonight."
In addition to an entertainment line-up including live music from Flynnville Train and DJs, the event featured traditional favorites such as all-night free ice skating on the US Bank Ice Rink, a giant dance party, Rozzi's Famous Fireworks and holographic holiday light show by Partech Lighting.
The big box on Fountain Square was also revealed, displaying a statue of an angel from the Aubrey Rose Foundation.
