CLERMONT COUNTY, OH (FOX19) -
A New Richmond man is behind bars in connection with a home invasion in Clermont County.
Police were called to Harvey Road for a reported home invasion on Thursday, just after 2 p.m.
The homeowner, a 70-year-old female, was reportedly tied with electrical tape and wire by a masked man who entered the home.
He then left the residence on foot with an undetermined amount of money. As a result, a K9 unit was called in to track the suspect.
Police located Charles R. Jackson, 26, of Monroe Township. He was arrested and charged the same day with one count of aggravated burglary, a felony of the first degree.
The victim was taken to Clermont Mercy Hospital and treated for minor injuries on her wrist from being tied up, according to authorities.
